Lady Vashj Defeated
It has been a long time since I have updated the Flying Hellfish's front page. Last update included downing Kel'Thuzad, and ever since then, none of the trivial kills in Burning Crusade felt worthy of a front page update. However, with the advent of the 2.1 patch, there has been a lot of end-game boss tuning, and subsequently some new kills that are worthy of an update.
Our first major kill in 2.1 was Lady Vashj. After one and a half nights of attempts, Lady Vashj went down comfortably to The Flying Hellfish's new 25 man raid crew (05/26/07). This was one of the first fights since the new expansion to really involve all of the players in complex motion and execution.
Later that night, we went to try out Al'ar, our last boss in Tempest keep before Kael'Thas. After a couple hours of attempts, Al'ar went down as well (05/26/07).

Al'ar Dies
The only kill left for us before Mount Hyjal is Kael'thas. We'll update again when we finally drop him, but he is already looking to be a very fun encounter.
In the meantime, our members have been enjoying a lot of the new content in 2.1, and some of us have been farming just a little bit too much. Raldez obtained the first netherdrake on the server, shortly before going insane in real life from the absurd amount of farming required.
